The PoolitiX

I was surfing YOuTube, found a clip that was like 5 yrs old. It featured That CMi Jamie Teo back in the 2001 Miss Universe crap. Well, halfway through the clip..i saw these 2 person who are playing pool with Jamie!! OMG!!! That's my cousin and his ex-galfren...they used to run this place called The Poolitix from the period of 2000-2005. I still remebered helping him out abit on the opening of the shop back in 2000. It was situated at prinscep street. I still recall that alot of cool people use to hang out there. My cousin, being a rocker like me, play decent rock music on the stereos all day long. My favourite part of the pool shop is a corner that has a KURT COBAIN poster hanging on the wall. he told me he got it from BMG while he was a salesperson back then in 1998/99...Talking about the clip i found in YouTube..now i remebered that he did mentioned that the mediacock people are filiming at his pool shop and ask me watch the show..knn, i forgot to watch because it was on a saturday!

Back then in 1998/99, me and Redrain, together with the 2 of them, we will always club every friday at the now kns MOh. Sultan pubs or the defunct Lava Lounge...those were the good old days.

Now The Poolitix has sinced been closed down (i think its in 2005 June) and both my cousin and the gal has gone separate ways too....however, I still keep in contact with the two of them once in a long while..well...i think its time that i pick up my HP and send them each a SMS....

Was searching about the Poolitix on the internet ..this was all i found from a blogger that frequent my cousin's shop :

"Was at Suntec and then we went over to Mr Bean. Also dropped by Poolitix with Eddie. Its closed down now, with a sign “Shop for Rent” hanging on the door. Sad to see a nice place ending up like that, seemingly due to poor management… hmmm….. "
