LJ Lion Dance Noise

Was having lunch the other day, was disturbed in the end by what else? LJ lion dance. The noise from the drum and cymbals was knn very loud, the fudger was banging on the drum right besides my CB seat...TMD.


Used to be so afraid of Lion Dances when i was a kid, i will tell my mummy that i wanna watch, but i will cover my ears because the noise was too fucking loud...I would even cry...my mummy would tease me and said " scare, still wanna watch!!" hahaha i am such a joke.

I remebered when i was older, i saw a video at my spore idol's cousin's place..its from hongkong and it featured LJ lion dances competition. This competiton is not like those lame ones in spore. Its Lions fighting Lions. All the CB lions have weapons like blades and spear attached to the HEAD, they will fight each other..damn violent..lim pek like hahaha!!!!

When i was in Army, i used to be involved in Lion dance performances as well..For me, i know nuts about the whole damn thing. I only wrack the cymbals... My LJ sergeant said every fuck move got what fuck names. Knn, like those chinese martial arts movie, every fight sequence got one LJ poetic phrase...so stupid. He told me.."the beats are most of the time in triplets, so u must play according to the drums as well" i was thinking..how difficult can it be, knn, those KORN and SSEVENDUST sycopation beats i also can play..triplets..sum sum water man. I remebered during my lion dance performances..all i could think of or imagine is that i am playing some NU-Metal songs infront of the LION ..weird fuck i am ..\!!

Anyway, these days, i saw a lot of lion dance troupes that has many MYYs and fudging INdiana jones..where have all the CB chinese gone too? This is a fuck chinese tradition thing man...
