Was at the Hoobastank Gig at Fort Canning Park. I was standing 5th role from the front.

The singapore opening band, The Sixies(i don't really recall their name, anyway i don't bother also), sucks big time man. Xia suei local music scene, getting such a CMI band to open for hoobastank. I just don't know why the vocalist must wear a LJ sunglass at nite..KNN he look like a blind chap, still think he is oh so cool haha!! they only torture my eardrums for 15 mins nia..heng ah ba yee liang keng ah!! This stupid band won the LJ Ripplevox Hoobastank opeing act competition via,what else, sensless online voting..talking about real talents..they are not talented loh, no showsmanship lar..4 pieces of wood on the stage!!!haha!!!!

Talking about KNN Hoobastank:

The way the LJ guitarist leap around the stage like siao monkey and after thats still can control his CB CRYBABY WAH PEDAL to perfection. are really interesting..

The new bassist looked like high on DOPE the whole night swaying CB left right centre.

The Tin-Tin lookalike vocalist worn a shirt withe the word "Ugly"..hmm...he is trying to tell the world he is ugly or is he trying to say we are CB UGLY singapore..wadever !!!

As usual this type of commercial rock band attracted many chio buS. I am so fucking freak out that all these pretty faces know every single fuck lyrics to all the hard rocking numbers belt out by the band...cool! I thought pretty faces only listen to Jazz and comtempory pop..aiya anyway fuck them lar..i ain't at the GiG looking at pricks and biatches!

Cover songs played by the band :

War Pigs- by blacksabbath ( many LJs and Cbs all become quiet when teh band play this because they never heard of this 1970s satanic number ).

Another Brick in the Wall - by Pink Floyd ( they did it better than Korn...)

Living on a prayer- by Bon Jovi ( duh? WTF?!!! anyway their distortion effect is much better than richie sambora 's original sound, but the vocalist can't reach the jon bon jovi's high notes on that song ..hahaha!! )

In the crowd, there was nearly a fight, one LJ teenage angmoh spoilt brat was moshing a little and then he accidently hit a gal. His CB boyfriend nearly wanna beat that asshole up, but in the end, there isn't any fight...aiya wasted , i always wanna see teenage angmoh and chinese ah bengs fight,see who can actually win...shit lar..boh fight!!

Anyway, as usual, when the LJ band played THE REASON, all the CBs and LJs all go romatic and nuts..last time at concert, eg in the 90s, people light up the KNN lighters when a slow ballad is played...now in the 21century, what we see are all the LJ cellphone lights, all sorts of nonsense model, eg nokia, motorola, samsung, you name it, you have it all at the gig...one more thing..all are on video/ photo recording modes..very soon, LJ Youtube will be flooded with the amature footage of THE REASON performance...fuck!!! In the crowd, i only saw one LIGHTER being light up...so funky!!

When the band played the last CB song ," Out of Control", the whole fucking crowd went nuts..good bodysurfing and moshing song..but i didn't see any of that..only fucking headbangings..all so funky once again, see all the pretty faces headbanging trying to be cool hahaha..stupid!

Overall rating of this gig; 8/10. -- minus 1 point because i got hit on the head by a LJ water bottle thrown from the stage by the vocalist, shit man, painful!-- minus another 1 point, because this whole time during the gig, there is a faggot gay botak kept turning his LJ head and stare at me..fuck you, do i look liek a gay spiece to ya?! FUCK YOU AND YOUR FAGGOT LOOKING RED BULL MADE IN THAILAND T-SHIRT...GO SUCK YOUR GAY PALS 'LAMPA AT THE CORNER LAR!! KNNBPCB!!!
