ConCave Scream @ BayBeats

Over the weekend was at BayBeats @ the esplanade. This is the local event that is held every year around July for 3 days to celebrate and showcase local and overseas ( underground ) indie and rock talents. To me this is our very own brand of OZZfest ( although the music is lot more tame) and every year the LJ turn out was many..alot of MYY also haha!!.

Was there with Guitar.Molester, managed to catch ConCave Scream on the last day of the gig..Does anyone know or remeber who they are? Check out their song, "Driven", which was on heavy rotation back in 1997 on the airwaves ( if you listen to alot of FM98.7 back then, you will know!!)

I remeber way back in the early 90s, used to see that Sean ( the vocalist) at my cousin's place playing guitar n stuff..I still have a tape recording of him covering GNR 's Patience one nite, the casette tape is somewhere in my storeroom now..OMG this tape is like more than 14 yrs old...!!

I also remeber seeing that Pann ( the long hair guitarist ) hangout at the old TNT music studio at parklane with his ex -thrashmetal band "SilentSorrow"...oh man i must say their metal music is brutal and fierce man...those good old times back in 1992...

FireBurn has been searching alot of places for their old albums but i just cannot find any..I do have their old casette album but who the hell now own a CB casette player?!! I am crazy enuff to search the fucking LJ web for that song,"Driven", the whole nite yesterday and finally i found it , thanx to my LuckyStar!! i received the song via yousendit today!! thanx a zillion again!!

Anyway, there are not many good local bands around, I must say i really enjoy their music that nite..Too bad they never play that song , but what the heck lar!!!Still cool!!
