"Who's Lazy? " ~Sneaker and Art Show
On Friday, FireBurn and good buddy, Mata, went to support my sec school buddy, (dj) Lazy 's sneaker and art show at The Asylum
Who's Lazy?
Keep your eye on local artist Tony Tay (a.k.a. LAZY), a shoe customiser and graphic designer. Since customising his first pair of sneakers in 2005 while working for a design company in San Francisco, he has built up a loyal following amongst sneaker aficionados the world over. He's even produced a series of sneakers for the famed Sneaker Pimps, the largest sneaker show currently known to man. Now back on home soil, he is throwing together his first solo sneaker and art show, aptly titled Whos Lazy. From 30 June to 8 July at right here in our own digs.
The crowd turn out was good. Many arty farty people there i must say. Of course Me being the ego one, can't stand the way some of these designers talked...i.e " hows your pictorial coming along?"... "hows your trip to New York, did you clinch the project deal?"..."Hows so and so doing in his new design house?"..."Hows the xxx magazine shoot?"...Oh man, i listen already really very turn off ...Nonetheless, I am so very proud of LAZY and his hard work. To me, its always a nice feeling to see my good friends have some great achievements in life. God Bless all of them, you know who you are...and screw all you losers that wanna fuck with me and my life..
