Do U Have What it Takes?
Hong kan lar, I am often asked by my LJ boss this question. Was having another "pep" talk with him I was shoot with his sentence again. Everytime I told him about my job has no prospect and stuff, he will always use this sentence to put me down. Examples:
"I want to promote you but....Do U Have What it Takes?"
"I wanna task you more supervisory role but ...Do U Have What it Takes?"
"I want you to be like a leader but...Do U Have What it Takes?"
"You want to look for better opportunities outside but ...Do U Have What it Takes?"
" You want find a job that has higher pay outside but..Do U Have What it Takes?"
I say fuck you and your "Do U Have What it Takes" shit, TMD! I know the biggest asset is your gap but don't you get it? I am not you, You are you, I am I. I will never be the shadow of you because i don't have the gift of the gap that can negotiate like you do.
I am a sick fuck with a weak mind, but that doesn't meant that i will go down in flames, you get it? This world is such, when you do ten thousand good jobs, no one fuck will say "Well Done", one minor fuck mistake or what, then YOU WILL GET IT!! I have come to terms with this kind of "norm" in LJ working life.
I just wanna live in my own comfort zone , am sick of your troublesome ratrace.
Ask me to go to ECP this weekend to support sports event, said it will be good to "show face" and profile yourself. HUH? but...how many of your people are going or willing to go? less than 20% i must say. Profile myself? I ain't no prosititue , why need it?! Why do you want me to act "ON"?
Sometimes i wonder, work life is very much the same as the army life. In the ARmy, you can't say NO to certain tasks or job thrown at you, or you will kena extra or punishment...In the office, you also "cannot say NO", ok, if you say NO , you might not have to perform the tasks/jobs...but be prepared for the Aftermath, you will GET IT from the bosses somehow..some LJ bosses will make life difficult for you or "Mark" the shit outa you, some will get you hours and hours of "pep talk" on why you shouldn't behave in certain ways blah blah blah..KNN!
Fuck it all lar...like what IceQueen said just now in office..."You dun have to care about what others say, as long as you are true to yourself, isn't it?"...I think thats the exact sentence i told her last time regarding some stuff happening to her, funny how its so hard to console myself with these words when shit really happens!!!!

Maybe you can ask your boss the same question andsay "Do you have what it takes to keep/promote me?" *evil grin*
sorrie to say this but it's kinda true. did u ask him then wat does it take? tell me. He sucks if he's tongue tied means he haven a clue abt it at all.
one thing i learnt n is useful is to have a to do list everyday n commit to it. Do the things that u detest on the list most 1st then complete the rest. but comon, dun put a zillion items on the list, then u end up frustrated!
simple, but trust me it works.
