I just don't fucking understand the SMS habits of people around me. Take this for example:
Idiot A: So we r miting today right?
FireBurn: Ya, of course.
Idiot A: Where?
FireBurn : Town loh
Idiot A : Wat time?
FireBurn: 730pm....wahlan knn, dun waste my smses leh! Can't you ask me all the qns in one sms? C U!! :P
See? This is one LJ example, here's another one, from my bandmate.
FireBurn: When wanna jam, tell me your schedule pls.
DS: Sat cannot maybe Sunday morning LOL...
(after i book the studio and inform my bandmates)
FireBurn : Dear people, see you guys at 11am Tiet Studio this sunday.
DS: 10 am can?
FireBurn : sorry dude, they open 11am.
DS: okok
DS:what about this friday nite? Play 9 to 11pm?
FireBurn : sorry i can't make it on that day
DS: what about sat afternoon.
FireBurn : sorry not free...
DS: How sia?.......
FireBurn (getting fed up because he knows DS do not wanna make decisions...escapism mentality, so i reply):
You go call teh rest of the bandmates & rearrange another time to jam. MY HP LOW BATT, so i charging it, let me know teh confirm time to jam. BYE!
DS : ...ok ( sounds unwilling and kena arrow by FireBurn), BUt, can you sms them ONE LAST TIME, to let them know i will be calling them?
FIreBurn was thinking, WT...????????? So i fuckcare him, never reply his stupid request.
KNN, see, see , see what i mean. Some people just have unlimited sms supplies from their telco..And still can tell me no money to do this and do that. But got money to thrash talk using SMSes.. i believe at this rate people are smsing, those one word by one word replies, give them 10 thousands free monthly smses also not enuff...crazy man..
I tried so hard to understand why some of my friends are smsing in such a manner. Maybe its not because they have free smses or what fuck, but i put the blame on people getting to addicted to MSN messenger shit. You see, people THRASH TALKING in MSN Messenger often like to use phrase like LOL, BRB etc, one word one word reply for convience sake. Fuck larf, they also start using them in their smses.. They are so addicted to msning people, that they start using smsing as if they are msning..so lame...stupid. So now i make it a point to be straight forward in my SMS...
I also cannot stand some of my friends who dun reply your smses whenever you send one. I think thats fucking CB rude. I don't sms people for fun, But the other party if really think otherwise, then i say you can go fly kite lar...NNB...
I ENJOY THE TIMES WHEN HP WAS NOT POPULAR BACK IN THE EARLY 90s...THINGS WERE SO MUCH SIMPLIER.

pple are too used to talk in short cut ways... thus bringing to mobile as though they were talking on the phone.

You are right, those were the days when handphones and even pagers were not around, one can be uncontactable, and that is a beauty.... at times :)
yeah manz, sms and no reply is pretty rude.

Some people are just too lazy to punch on their HP keypads. And this I blame on.
The reason why I say that? I'm using the old-fashioned Nokia 3k series, and yet I find myself able to send out a damn freakin' long SMS while walking on the way to somewhere else.
Sigh, there goes the 'cincai' (careless) attitude of the modern society again.

I totally agree. People can't seem to state everything in an sms. Gets me really riled up and I feel like not replying. Its a huge waste of sms and hp bills.
