Aunty and uncle hog seats at crowded Ikea restaurant

A STOMPer was at Ikea Tampines on Vesak Day during lunch time when the STOMPer noticed this elderly couple hogging seats at the crowded restaurant there. 

In an email which the STOMPer sent yesterday (May 19), the STOMPer wrote:

“I was at the Ikea Tampines restaurant on Vesak day during lunch, and it was very crowded as there were many people there.

“Everyone had a hard time finding seats and I realised that not all Singaporeans are very gracious. 

“After finishing their meals, some still will not give up their seats to others. 

“I am not too sure if Ikea serve refillable coffee and tea, but I saw this old couple who went to refill their drinks a couple of times. 

“It seemed like they were smirking their faces knowingly when I took photos of them. 

“These people were basically glued to their seats and refused to leave because of the refillable drinks. 

“They are really ungracious and ugly Singaporeans.”
