Genesis: Week 1- Back to the Primitive
Oh man, what a week it is for me...first off, i was shocked at the state of the rundowness of the company. Still using LJ old CRT monitors instead of notebooks or LCDs..I guess they spent alot of money on employees but not on fixtures..well i can still handle that..i have work in worse place before..so no big of a deal.
My boss, was good to me so far, asking me to go lunch with him and the rest of the 'impt' ppl in the company..a.k.s his friends. He told me, we have a culture where the mgt ppl will lunch together, while the lower ranks will lunch with damnselves. CCB, no wonder he never call my Assistant along..wth!!
But the funny thing is that my senior, THE NUN, never lunch with him at all...i wonder the fuck why?!
Maybe its because of the so call heavy "workload".
The thing is that she and my coacher, ANGEL..works till super late..i.e 745pm?! WTF, ANGEL can tell me that if i don't finish by the cut off time, all shit will be affected. BUt but, i checked with my Boss, he said we have about 48hrs turnaround time..thats so reasonable than what She has told me.
The culture for these two ladies are to "finish" all the shit today so that tomolo work load won't pile up...crap! I for one, don't believe in working late. That's totally inefficient and ineffective. If i need to work late, i rather get my HOME ACCESS ( which i am getting it soon). WHat for wanna waste your fuck time in office and suck in all that stale air. I rather seat in my FireChair at home and do it. No pressure, no stress.
Been having training with the Boss for the whole week, he has been good and effective in letting me know as much as i need. He said " For the hands on details, go to the NUN and ANGEL".. I was thinking, siao liao, when they run thru the crap , they are like M16s , machine guns rattling, they don't really know how to teach...sent me and my assistant emails of SOPS and meeting timings, expect me to read first ( CCB, where got time and where can catch what balls by reading?!). Sent emails on meeting timings, that so impersonal, she just seats besides me...why can't she just turn and ask...WEirdos!
Well, i tell myself, if the NUN is so lousy at coaching me, i will keep pestering her..ON n On n On...the same old evil FIREBURN ways...I must get what i want ,to learn it all and not just seat there and wait for you to feed and kill me...KNN.
As for ANGEL, she seems to know all the sales people real well, she ask me go addressbook to go see who they are...KNS, another of those " find out URself" attitude...well i won't do that.. Tomorrow, i Am gonna throw my notebook at you and ask you to tell me WHICH SALES DICKS and CUNTS I SHOULD KNOW, eg NAME, LOCATION ( china, taiwan?). She she can't help, then i will go ask my Boss..the good guy.
I must get to know these internal parties to get my shit moving...
